Only Death Follows is the first book in a new apocalyptic romance series from Author Jennifer Foor, writing as Canter Mills.
This series features a family divided, lost, and determined to find their way back to one another while everything around them is dying.
After a government created virus has killed ninety-percent of the world’s population, the few survivors must learn to live without the conveniences of electricity and running water and other modern day amenities. With the infected still contagious, and groups of rebel militia seeking domination, it’s a fight to remain alive. One family will stop at nothing to stay together and find refuge.
Book One features Nova Knox and her struggle to get her brothers to safety while the rest of the family is missing and possibly dead.
Everything has changed.
It’s a fight for survival.
Death is chasing us down, and no matter how far or fast we run, we’re staring it straight in the eye and daring it to take us.
I have one purpose; to protect my family.
Dead or alive, nothing will stand in my way.
This is the synopsis trailer for the highly anticipated release set on March 6th 2014.
Upon completion of my fourth book in the Somnian series, I did a happy dance. It takes A LOT of work to make a series flow and continue to grab readers with every page. I work hard to keep my readers on the edge of their seats, never knowing what will happen next. I enjoy hearing the reviews of people, especially when they finish one of my cliff hanger endings. For those who follow me on Twitter or Facebook…..I love the private messages. i.e. (Holy Crap!, NO YOU DIDN’T!, OMG!) It usually takes my readers a day or two after the release to start giving me opinionated responses. The shocked reactions are what I LOVE TO READ AND HEAR. I have literally had family and friends cuss me out over something that I have done involving one of their favorite characters. The series continues, resulting in a desperate need for answers. I love the anticipation. I want to shock, excite, and did I say shock? I hope that everyone loves this book, if not just as much, but maybe even more than the first three. I promise that it has action, romance, violence, suspense, magic and death. Doesn’t it sound interesting already?
Thanks for reading!
A white room with glass walls, lighthouse decor, and a gentle breeze. A rolltop desk closed, but a couch reclined to perfect comfort. An outline of my work sits on a table. The keyboard awaits my fingers as the curser blinks at a constant.
The cover sits tightly across the inground pool, while the dog runs across it chasing a bunny. Birds sing from the fence in unison, possibly discussing a lone worm squirming across the concrete.
The flowers are blooming and leaving a colorful landscape throughout the yard. Through the glass it is a breathtaking morning.
I hope your morning can be as tranquil.
